Each garment* is individually designed and hand woven on a loom, using variations of a plain weave structure. Once cut from the loom and to size, the fabric is washed to eliminate shrinkage. Serging is applied to the edges, preventing fraying. Inside the gament, a Hong Kong Finish using Bemberg Rayon and a complementary color topstitch are applied to the raw seams. This provides beauty, elegance and a lifetime of strength and durability to each garment. All wraps are finished by hand with knotted fringes. I find the playful fiber combinations, colors and textures of each garment to capture my creative expression.
